Gary Hughes

A proud Winter Park local and father of four, Gary has spent the last two decades honing his skills in portrait photography. Along the way, he’s been honored with awards such as the Fuji Masterpiece, Kodak Gallery, and PPA National Awards—but he’ll be the first to say it’s not about awards. His focus lies in creating professional headshots and portraits that capture the unique essence of every subject.

Gary’s work has appeared in Forbes, Fast Company, and Rolling Stone, but what he values most are the connections he builds through photography. A regular speaker at Imaging USA, WPPI, and other industry events, Gary enjoys sharing his knowledge and believes teaching is a two-way street.

For the past 16 years, he and his wife, Julie—his partner in life and business—have built a thriving professional headshot and portrait studio in Central Florida. Together, they create dynamic, authentic images for professionals, with one goal in mind: to empower people and help them grow their brands.

What does it cost?

We believe that professional headshots and branding images are an investment in yourself—and your career is worth it! Our goal is to keep things simple while delivering exceptional quality. The studio session fee is $295, which covers your session time and creative direction. After that, you can purchase the images you love at $250 each. Every image is thoughtfully hand-retouched and color-graded to perfection, then delivered in high resolution so you’ll look your absolute best.

What else do you need to know?

  • Our Winter Park studio, just minutes from downtown Orlando and Park Ave, gives us a private space to create amazing images without worrying about parking, crowds, or weather. If you have a meaningful location in mind, we can talk about making that part of your session.

  • Of course! Whether it’s for support or collaboration, we’d be happy to accommodate a plus one—just let us know.

  • How long the session takes depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Simple sessions can be done in 30 minutes, but for more options, plan for up to two hours.

  • Here’s the exciting part—you get to see and select your images right after the shoot! We’ll help you pick the best ones, and the final retouched versions will be delivered within 2-3 business days.

  • We always recommend professional hair and makeup to make things run smoothly and enhance the quality of your images. If you prefer your own stylist or want to do it yourself, that’s totally fine! Need help finding a great artist? Just let us know—for an additional fee we will arrange for a top local pro to be there for your session.

  • Our pricing is simple. $295 for the session and $250 per hand-retouched, high resolution image. For simple sessions, clients spend as little as $550, while clients looking for an expanded portfolio of images will spend more.
